SPIRIVA RESPIMAT is a once daily, prescription maintenance treatment of asthma, and our clients tasked us with developing a memorable campaign refresh. As someone with asthma, I wanted to utilize my own personal experiences and tell the client’s message through a simple but impactful visual.
Asthma always felt like it was keeping me from my daily actives, it literally took a hold of my life. After a few days brainstorming ideas based on our brief, ah ha… an image of a bear holding me from playing with my friends as a kid popped into my head. The “Spiriva Bear Hug” was born. Working with a dynamic creative team, I was able to craft a concept board that rose to the top of user testing and ultimately became the new campaign.
It was a wonderful feeling seeing an idea grow from conception to completion, and eventually into a commercial spot. The core brand team did an amazing job in building out all campaign materials.
